HKMK23 HANDGUN

2013

This project was a personal one as it is heavily inspired by Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series.

 

I originally wanted to model and texture the USP type handgun from the series but I ended up turning to real life models and taking elements from each one.

The mesh itself was modeled back in 2013 but The texturing and rendering was only finished recently mainly because of the time I sank into my degree. 

The reason why I went back to this model was because I wanted a project for Substance Painter as it was the first time using the software. 

Overall I'm really happy with the outcome as I've learned so much about digital painting and 3D creation.
